Replace any burned or corroded connectors on stator and regulator/rectifier
Check and repair any melted wiring.
Use hi-temp dielectric grease on all connectors.

Shawn Moss When I placed the order I was under the impression that the part would be "shipped within 24 hours and received in 3-7 business days" because that's what it said. It shipped almost a week after I ordered it and was delivered almost 3 weeks later. So be patient if you order here. The part came in great condition, put it on my victory motorcycle and have had no problems. The product was exactly as described and pictured, it just took a lot longer than I had anticipated.
