I grabbed this Stage 2 cam kit for my low-cost LS build—total win! It’s a solid upgrade from my original plan, and the included valve train parts saved me from buying extra stuff. Components feel high-quality, fit great too. Still building the motor, but I’m stoked it’ll help hit 400HP. Awesome value!
I purchased both intake and exhaust for right side. The intake cam was clean and the finish and grind were awesome. build quality and finish beat my expectation for the cost. Worked perfectly after install - Do remember to relearn the cam cycle via a OBD tool or unhook your battery for 30 min to an hour or ground out the onboard system after doing a cam swap. Great value and works as good as the stock cams! I wouldn't hesitate for the 3.6 - well worth it.
Came in oem box, quality looks good, slid right in and has just the right amount of lope, good sounding cam
I like the quality of this out of the box it’s really nice and easy to install. For a low budget cam shaft it gave me the chop and performance I was looking for. I used the PAC1218 springs and was able to start it up without any tuning. I recommend getting a proper tune to take full advantage of the camshaft.
It’s a fairly big job so you need patience! My only issue is the gaskets. The valve cover gaskets did not fit right, and the head gaskets did not seal. I was getting misfires on cylinders 7 and 8 after I was finished. Very frustrated and sat on it for a day or 2. Then I thought it could be the head gaskets as others have said. Long story short I bought some Fel-Pro gaskets and new head bolts. Installed them And it’s running good now! If you read this, same yourself some time and frustration and use different gaskets. Other than that IMO the set is ok.
