A weak or repeatedly dead battery on a SYM Quad Lander 300S does not always mean the battery itself is the problem. The charging system also depends on the stator and regulator/rectifier, and a fault in either component can leave the ATV without enough charging output while it is running.
For a 2015–2017 SYM Quad Lander 300S, especially the UA30A5H-F L5-L7 configuration, checking the charging system as a whole can make more sense than replacing parts at random.
Start With the Battery, but Don't Stop There
If the ATV struggles to restart, the lights seem weaker than normal, or the battery keeps losing charge, begin with basic battery checks. A discharged or aging battery can create symptoms that look like a charging-system failure.
If the battery is in usable condition but does not stay charged during normal operation, the stator and regulator/rectifier become important areas to inspect. Wiring, connectors, and damaged grounds should also be checked before assuming a component has failed.
What Do the Stator and Regulator/Rectifier Do?
The stator generates electrical current while the engine is running. The regulator/rectifier converts and controls that output so the ATV's electrical system and battery receive usable voltage.
Because the two components work together, a charging problem should not automatically be blamed on only one of them. The Champoo Selected replacement kit includes both components, along with a generator-cover gasket.
Check the Connectors Before Ordering
This kit uses an 18-pole stator with five wires, two plugs, and a 3+2 pin arrangement. The regulator/rectifier has six wires, two plugs, and a 3+3 pin arrangement.
Those details matter. Before ordering, compare the replacement photos, connector shapes, number of wires, and pin arrangement with the parts currently installed on your ATV.
Use the Part Numbers as Another Fitment Check
The stator is listed with reference numbers 31120-RCA-000 and 31120-RB1-000. Compatible regulator/rectifier references include 31600-RB1-000, 31600-RB1-010, 31600-RCA-000, 31600-RCA-010, and C1600-LRA0-0000.
